Ocean Park

As a tourist, I can say if you have kids, you have to go to Ocean Park. Located in the southern part of the Hong Kong island, Ocean Park covers over 170 acres and looks over the sea. One day is probably not enough to cover the entire park. There is much to do, including roller coasters, zoos, and an aquarium that may be seen as shocking. With so much to do, Ocean Park has something for people of all ages.
Animals lead the show at Ocean Park. The main attraction are the pandas. An-An and Jia-Jia, who were gifts from the Chinese Central government for Hong Kong's 10th Anniversary of British independence. There are also aquariums and zoos with various shows. If you are not the animal person, there are roller coasters for the hardcore riders and a cable car ride for those whose enjoy scenic views. As I have said before, there is something for everyone at this park.

Victoria Peak

Victoria Peak will get you the best view of the entire region of Hong Kong. Also known as Mount Austin or simple, The Peak, this mountain stands 1811ft above sea level over Hong Kong. Opening its tramway in 1888, Victoria Peak continues to grow with an average of 6-7 million tourists each year. From fine dining to sight-seeing, Victoria Peak has much to do.
Only way to get up this hill is through the Park Tram. The Park Tram slowly takes the riders up to the top with a full view of what the landscape of Hong Kong is really like. Once on top, one shall find Peak Tower. Inside Peak Tower is Ripley's Believe or Not, Wax Museum, shopping, and food. For those craving nature, there is the Lugard-Herleck Road Trail, which outsees all of Hong Kong's beauty.
